CAD Drawings

Product CAD Drawings is for hard goods only. This is where our engineering team creates a 3D CAD model of your product based on your finalized product concept documents.

Deliverables Include:
  • 3D Digital Product Mockup
Product design ideation.
02

Tech Pack & Bill of Materials Creation

Tech Pack + BOM Creation is where we build a final product design document to be used by your factory during manufacturing. This document includes every single product detail: materials, parts, measurements, 3D models, and reference images.

Deliverables Include:
  • Tech Pack Creation + Bill of Materials
Product design concept.
03

Prototyping & Refinement

Product Prototyping is where we bring your concept to life with a functional prototype. Whether 3D printed or built in collaboration with a factory using production-grade materials, this prototype serves as a physical reference to guide successful manufacturing.

Deliverables Include:
  • Working Prototype of Your Product
  • CAD Refinement (if needed)
Product design finalization.

Enjoy a streamlined, stress-free product journey with one connected team guiding your design, engineering and manufacturing from start to finish - saving you time and money!

FAQs

Product Engineering FAQs:

What types of products does your engineering team specialize in?

Our product engineers come from unique backgrounds working with various product types. Our engineers have worked on a wide range of products including: baby, toys, games, outdoor gear, fitness, health/wellness, home goods, pet products, apparel/accessories, and more.

How much does product engineering cost?

Every entrepreneur and brand has unique product needs, so all of our contracts look different. Our product engineers work on a competitive hourly rate and tailor those hours to your specific needs. You only pay for the hours you use and we always shoot to get the work done in fewer hours than we quote.

How long does product engineering take?

It depends where you're at the process, but we usually quote about 3 to 4 weeks for creating your engineering CAD files and then another 6 to 8 weeks to make refinements at the factory level as needed.

How does prototyping work?

If you've hired our engineering team, then you are almost certainly creating a product that requires at least on mold for manufacturing. We create the mold(s) once you're satisfied with your engineering design files and have solidified your materials. Molds are billed separately and take anywhere from 15 to 30 days to be built. Using the mold for prototyping usually takes an additional 15 days after that.
